Morning

The first match of this second day is Chile and Mexico women. Two minutes have gone by and MEX has gained the first penalty corner of the match which ended in a bouncy ball going past the side of the goal. The game continued and MEX recovered the ball and opened the score with the first goal of the match.

MEX seems to be doing a much better job than yesterday and CHI cannot find their way as MEX scored their second goal. Penalty stroke for MEX leaving the score the same as the goalkeeper managed to stop the ball from going in. CHI started recovering itself and scored their first goal opening the score and reducing the difference. MEX once again manages to score when the CHI goalkeeper fails to stop the ball, giving them the third goal of the match. The first half finished with a difference of three goals in favor of MEX.

The second half has just started and CHI scores their second goal making it an exciting game due to the small difference in results. Penalty stroke for MEX, which hit the goalpost, not being able to establish a difference in the score. The game is being carried out mostly in the midfield making it difficult for both teams to get advantage over the other. With thirteen minutes to the end of the game, CHI is trying its best to get a draw, although it is not easy for them, as the MEX defense is awake and closed.

With six minutes to the end, the match continues closed and none of the teams can find their way around each other. Penalty Corner for MEX and the fourth goal in their score. With the match ending MEX gets another penalty corner to score their fifth goal and ending the game.

The second match of this second day is USA and Paraguay women. Only two minutes into the game and USA has already scored the first goal. The game continued quite even until USA scored the second goal. Although USA is in advantage, there is not a clear advantage when it comes to scoring, as PAR entered the pitch with the attitude of attacking. This attitude is such that in minute 10 of the first half PAR scores their first goal.

USA reacted and established the difference once more scoring their third goal. Penalty Corner for PAR, which was defended by the USA goalkeeper. The rest of the first half did not have many penalty corners and USA kept their rival in their circle although they could not establish the difference.

The second half has started and there is no established difference in any of the teams. Four minutes into the second half USA gained a penalty corner, which ended in penalty stroke when the ball hit the arm of a player. The ball went in and USA is winning 4 to 1. Penalty corner for USA who defeated the goal scoring the fifth goal. Two minutes later USA manages to score the sixth and is establishing the difference. USA scored the seventh goal and there is ten minutes to go before the end of the match.

PAR cannot get hold of the ball in this second half. Seven minutes for the end of the match and USA gains a penalty corner which ends up in penalty stroke, scoring their eighth goal. Once again from group play USA scores their goal number nine, and Paraguay cannot seem to react. Another penalty corner for USA, who scores goal number ten with four minutes to the end of the match. Penalty corner for PAR who could not use the opportunity to reduce the difference. USA recovers the ball and after their counterattack scores goal numbers eleven.

Third game of the day women Argentina and Peru. The game started and both teams entered the pitch wanting to score but during the first five minutes of the first half, none have been able to do so. Penalty Corner for ARG which is stopped by the goalkeeper without too much hassle. Seven minutes to the end of the first half and none of the teams have been able to open the score.

Five minutes before the end of the first half ARG scored two goals, one after another giving them a change in attitude. Even though ARG is winning up to the moment PERU is not making it easy for them. Seconds for the end of the first half and ARG could not show the superiority it had shown yesterday, and PERU maintained their playing level.

The second half started with a penalty corner for ARG, which meant no danger for PERU. The game continued to be quite hard in the middle with a slight advantage for ARG, as they gain some penalty corners. Penalty corner for ARG scoring the third goal of the match. Although ARG is trying hard to score PERU is doing an excellent job in defending the result. Thirty seconds to go and ARG gains another Penalty corner with no success and the match ended 3 for ARG and 0 for PERU

Afternoon

The sixth match of the day is women are Paraguay and Chile. The first five minutes of the game were quite equal for both games. The game continued with no danger for any of the two teams, even though there were penalty corners. Eight minutes to the end of the first half and PAR earned a penalty corner, which created no danger in the CHI circle. This first half is about to end and the match has been struggled in the midfield with no danger at all.

The second half has started and CHI has begun a bit better than PAR. They managed to earn a penalty corner which was almost the opening of the score. CHI had two penalty corners in a row but could not score. PAR had one opportunity to score in a penalty corner and opened the score, PAR 1- CHI 0

With three minutes to the end of the match CHI is attacking but cannot manage to get into the PAR circle. Less than one minute to end and CHI is trying to score no matter what. The game finished and PAR won 1-0

Evening

This is the eleventh game of the day and Argentina is playing with USA. Seven minutes into the first half and the score hasn�t been open yet. ARG had an opportunity to score but ended in penalty corner, the first of the game. It caused no danger for the US goal. The game is very exciting as both teams reach each others circles, and both have important chances of scoring.

Only six minutes for the end and the score continues closed. Four minutes to go for the first half and ARG seems to be closer, even though USA is a very dangerous rival. ARG earned a penalty corner but could not stop the ball and lost an opportunity score. The first half is ending an USA earned a penalty corner.

The second half started with a penalty corner for USA. opening the score with a marvelous shot straight towards the goal. ARG reached the goal and faced the goalkeeper losing the chance to score. Penalty Corner for ARG, which did not give them the opportunity of scoring. Five minutes for the end of the match and both teams are finding it difficult to score. Penalty corner for USA, which went just outside the angle.
