Morning

The third day and the first match are women USA and Peru. The game started and the two teams were very similar, there was not a marked difference between them. First penalty corner for USA, which did not cause much danger in the Peruvian goal. The game continued until USA dominated the ball in the center and went to the Peruvian circle scoring the first goal of the match when there is 8 minutes to go to the end of the first half. Penalty Corner for the US who scores the second goal. Five minutes to the end the first half, penalty corner for USA, who scored the third goal. Less than a minute for the end of the first half and USA has another opportunity to score with a penalty corner, not being able to get it.

Second half has just started and Peru gained a penalty corner, the ball went right past the side post. Five minutes into the second half and USA scored a marvelous goal which deflected into the goal, putting the match 4-0. The second half has almost finished and USA scores the fifth goal, coming by the side to the end of field hitting the ball from the side to the first post. The game finished with a Penalty corner for USA who scored the sixth goal defeating PERU 6-0.

Second match of the day, Mexico and Paraguay women. Three minutes into the game and the score continues closed. The first penalty corner is for MEX, who could not score. Another penalty corner for MEX, who hits the ball into the goal and it�s stopped by PAR defense. Penalty Corner for PAR who had the opportunity to score.

The game is carried out in the midfield with no danger for any of the two teams except for some penalty corner. Seven minutes to the end of the first half and MEX earns a penalty corner which lets them open the score. The first half is ending and MEX earns a penalty corner scoring for second time.

The second half has started and MEX has earned a penalty corner but losing the opportunity to increase the difference in score. MEX earned several penalty corners but none scored. PAR opened the score and the match is 2-1 when there is 7 minutes left for the end. MEX scored the third goal four minutes before the end. Two minutes to the end and MEX has earned a penalty corner which ended in nothing. The game ended in favor of MEX 3-1

The third match of the day Argentina and Chile women. The first penalty corner of the match was for ARG, who could not open the score. Penalty Corner for CHI, with no danger for the ARG goal. Penalty Corner for ARG who opens the score ten minutes into the first half. Nine minutes to end the first half and CHI opens the score by reaching the circle and striking at the goal.Penalty Corner for ARG who put the game 2-1. Two minutes to the end of the first half and ARG earns another Penalty Corner that goes past the right side of the post.

The second half has started with a penalty corner for CHI, which ends u being a counterattack for ARG and their fourth goal. Penalty Corner for ARG, which ends up as penalty stroke and their fifth goal. Penalty corner for CHI, who performed a very good strike but found the goalkeeper in the way. This turned into a counterattack for ARG who scored their goal number 6. One minute to end the match and ARG is constantly under attack. The game ended with an advantage of 6 to 1 for ARG

Afternoon

The seventh match of the day is USA and Chile women. USA is leading in the first minutes and has scored the first goal through the first penalty corner. The game was being played in the middle and as soon as USA got through they had a chance for the second penalty corner. This second penalty corner was not successful. With eight minutes for the end of this first half, and USA continues pressuring not giving CHI the chance to go further than midfield. Penalty Corner for USA which does not cause any danger in CHI circle.

The second half has started and USA has earned a penalty corner with no luck for scoring. Penalty corner for CHI who cannot seem to score. Penalty corner for USA who scored the second goal in the match seven minutes before the end. CHI earned a penalty corner and scored the first goal three minutes before the end of the match.

Evening

The eleventh match of the day women Argentina and Mexico. Started of with a goal from MEX, arising from the first penalty corner of the game. Then the match developed without big chances for any of the teams, and six minutes before the end of the first half ARG loses the opportunity of scoring with a penalty corner. Four minutes to go and MEX had a chance to score sending the ball to the side of the goalpost. Just before finishing the first half ARG earned a penalty corner and tied the match.

The second half has started and the match continues the same but with an opportunity for ARG to score but did not use this opportunity to change the score. Seven minutes before the end with no penalty corners nor danger in the circles. Penalty corner for ARG five minutes before the end of the game and ARG leads 2-1

Three minutes to go and MEX earned a penalty corner scoring the second goal and tying the match. One minute to the end and ARG earns a penalty corner, their last chance to win the match which was not used.

The two teams will meet again tomorrow in the semi-final, while USA and Peru will meet in the other semi-final.
