Today�s first match is Paraguay and Chile, women for 5th and 6th place. The game started and CHI has a penalty corner that gives them the opportunity of opening the score, but doesn�t make use of it. After ten minutes of the first half, none of the two teams have earned penalty corners nor produced dangerous situations for their rival.

The first half has gone by and there were only three penalty corners for PAR which did not cause any harm to the other side.

The second half started and PAR scored a goal in the first three minutes. Ten minutes to the end CHI tied the game. Three minutes before the end CHI scored the second goal and is in the fifth position. The game ended 2 to 1 for Chile.

Afternoon

The second game of the day for the third and fourth position women is between Mexico and Peru. Two minutes went by and MEX has a penalty corner with no danger for its rival. The first half went on without any dangerous situations for any of the teams. MEX had a slight advantage over Peru. The first half finished and no team has scored.

MEX continues having a slight advantage over Peru but they are not able to score. Two minutes to go and MEX gains a penalty corner but does not take advantage of the opportunity. Seconds to go and Peru earns a penalty corner not scoring the second half is over and no one scored.

Extended five minutes to define the result. As soon as the extended time started MEX scored a goal and ended up third.

The fourth match of the day is Argentina - USA for the 1st and 2nd position. The match started with opportunities for both teams but none could score. ARG almost scored the first goal of the match, but the ball hit the goalpost and went out. Penalty Corner for USA, which was stopped by ARG defense.

Eight minutes before the end of the first half, USA earns a penalty corner and scores the first goal of the match. The first half-ended 1 to 0 and USA is in advantage.

The second half stars with the ball mainly in possession of ARG. ARG ties the match and converts two goals in a row putting the match 2 to 1. USA had many opportunities to score through penalty corners but could only convert one. Ten minutes of the second half ARG scores once more putting the score ARG 3 to 2. In the last five minutes of the match, ARG scores a magnificent goal putting the match 4 to2 and reaching the first position of the tournament.
