(Translation by Carolina Ehlert)

Venezuela - Peru : 2 - 2
Argentina - Brazil : 4 - 0
Uruguay - Paraguay : 5 - 2

Venezuela - Peru : 2 - 2

Peru, current defender of the bronze medal could not handle Venezuela. The game started in favor of Peru who pressured and scored twice; one of them being a penalty corner.

Venezuela equaled results in the second half, both times the goals derived from penalty corners. This is how the match ended and both teams were satisfied in sharing the score.

Argentina - Brazil : 4 - 0

Argentina played its worst game but scored four goals against a weak Brazil. They are the candidates for the gold medal.

Brazil attacked at all times but could not take advantage of the few chances to score it had.

Uruguay - Paraguay : 5 - 2

Uruguay won a game, which was difficult from a start. The Uruguay team started losing the match but it reacted on time to turn the result around.

Paraguay played better than in previous games but this was not enough to defeat Uruguay, the host, before 2500 people.
