Canada - Argentina : 1 - 4

A very important match today for Canada and Argentina as they have both 6 points. Winning this game means a ticket to the finals! Canada seem to be stalled at the very beginning and Argentina scored a goal by player #9, Leonardo CASTRONOVO with less than one minute of play and just 5 minutes later another one by player #2 Nicolas CICILEO. This took Canada by surprise and made them wake up to finally start pushing over Argentina's playground.

With Canada attacking over and over, they found their goal at minute 26 in a penalty corner with a shot by player #24, Gordon JOHNSTON. Later on Argentina did have a hard time going out of its own side but they finally did and with a nice steal from player #9, Leonardo CASTRONOVO it ended in a beautiful goal at minute 33.

For the second half Canada continued to pressure its opponent but unfortunately for them Argentina asserted another goal at minute 64 by player #9, Nicolas CICILEO. The match ended 4-1 and Argentina now hold the first place in the tournament and is assured of a place in the finals.

Mexico - USA : 1-2

Last match of day 4, Mexico looking forward to win this game and USA trying to get a ticket for the finals. The Mexicans started really well as they were the first ones to score a goal in the game at minute 28 in a penalty corner shot by player #18, Jordy CHAVEZ. Despite the Americans continued to attack they maintained this advantage throughout the first half.

For the second half USA came out decided and stronger scoring its first goal and tying the game at minute 38 by player #4, Ajaypal SINGH. The final result was yet to be defined but Mexico started to loose terrain and the heat turned up as some yellow cards were given to both teams. By minute 47 USA scored again by means of player #5, Christian LINNEY, taking advantage for the rest of the game wich ended 2-1. With this Mexico will be depending on Chile's result against Argentina to see if it can go for third place.
